Sathabishekam

The rite marking a life that has seen a thousand full moons. Traditionally held once a man completes eighty years, it is celebrated as a second wedding: the couple is married again, before family, in gratitude for the years given to them.

For our mother

Bheema Radha Santhi

C Banumathi · 70 years

The rite of the seventieth year, named for the chariot that carries a person safely into their eighth decade. Prayers are offered for continued health, long life, and the wellbeing of the family gathered around her.
